Break out the bubbly, musical fiends, for today we serve up a new vintage of Sky Blue Sound: a tribute and aspiration to, as someone in the know recently said, “one of the greatest songwriters of our time.” I shan’t argue with that.

We don’t often do covers; after over 100 SBS tracks released in five years, this is only our third effort at interpreting another artists’ material. I think we did alright. 🤷🏻

Miss Swift is incomparable, so naturally we don’t so much as aspire as hope to have gilded some small pretty thing that glints if only a shard of its original light, for Phair Isles (aka Rachel Carey, @phairisles) shines bright as ever on this vocal. And performing harmonica on the mic was a new treat for me. We hope you enjoy it…
