🌔 Good Day, Good People. Today I urge you please to listen and absorb. It’s a thing:

In 2017, just five days after our permanent arrival from BKLYN to the ATL, a total solar eclipse occurred, much like the one occurring as we speak today. On that April 21 of seven years past, I spent a short and frenzied 24 hours composing, mixing, mastering and ultimately releasing a track in recognition of the eclipse’s power to captivate our imagination, and in some cases, the power to crystalize our fears.

You see, at the time, Notre Dame was in flames, multiple mass school shootings occurred in the US, and a certain deranged megalomaniacal imbecile was taking his first steps towards a despicable attempt to run this country into the ground.

So it is that today, Sky Blue Sounds presents a
remastered release of a “A Hole In The Sky.”

🛑 Not just because, neither.

🌓 Today’s presentation is sociologically important in that the track’s narrative was culled and arranged from soundbites take from a podcast commenting on the 2017 eclipse. And while the entire track has much to offer the mind, the heart and the bomb-chi-ka-bump, the final fifty seconds presents a monologue opining on the prophetic nature of a celestial phenomena of such magnitude and scope.

The words that follow in those fifty seconds are chilling in their prescience… If you listen, you too may find yourself “terrified.”

🌒 People, please. Let us not again let a cosmic event seemingly intervene in our effort to keep history from repeating itself. Let us recognize the dangers upon us and face them with fortitude and determination, so that this country and the rest of the world may be saved from another dangerous bout with those men that “just want to watch the world burn…” 🦇

☀️ Instead, like the ancients before us, let us chase away the demons with our noise.
